about the commitment of the Grand Cross of Merit with Crowns of OSS Herewith I constitute the Grand Cross of Merit with Crowns of OSS which inventor and founder is Dr. med Stanisław Stawowiak, Knight of the Grand Cross of the Order. The Order shall be worn on a ribbon around the neck or attached to the right side of the chest such as other orders OSS.

1.   The Order is awarded to members of OSS, members of other organizations, private persons or members of the church, who through their particular activities have contributed to the protection of the Polishness and of the rise of OSS in Poland and in the whole worłd as well as to the praise of the good reputation of Poland according to the principle

"Milito pro OSS et Polonia"

 "I fight for the Order of St. Stanislaus and for Poland"

2.   The motion for the award of the Grand Cross of Merit with Crowns of OSS will be put forward by the Grand Priorate of the country, whosc member the recommended candidate is.

3.   The motion has to describe the particular merits of the candidate and also includes his curriculum vitae with information about his membership to statcly organizations and societies.

4.   The motion will be prcsented to the Council of the Grand Cross of Merit with Crowns of OSS. After the Council has assessed the merits of the candidate and the opinion of the Grand Priorate of the country, they can approve or reject the motion or send it back for further information.

5.   The Council of Grand Cross of Merłt with Crowns of OSS itself also has the right to present a candidate without a motion from the Grand Priorales OSS

6.   The Grand Cross of Merit with Crowns of OSS is awarded once a year in a Conference of the Grand Priorate of Poland in Warsaw chosen by the Council.

7. The Council of the Grand Cross of Merit with Crowns of the Order of St. Stanislaus consists of a Chairman of the Council, a Secretary of the Council and three members of the Grand Priorate of Poland

8. Herewith I appoint following Council of the Grand Cross of Merit with Crowns of the Order of St. Stanislaus:

During the 125th investiture in Warsaw, on the 06th of September 2008, the Grand Master OSS, Juliusz Nowina Sokolnicki, was honored by the Council of the Grand Cross with the Grand Cross of Merit with Crowns of the Order of St. Stanislaus.
